T1 heads into tomorrow’s match against DN SOOPers under pressure. T1 currently sit 7th in the LCK standings with a 1–2 series record, and with the top six teams at the end of May qualifying for the Road to MSI bracket, every series from here on is critical. A loss to a bottom-half team like DN SOOPers would deepen a hole that’s already uncomfortable for a roster expected to compete internationally.
T1’s Form Concern
T1’s recent loss to Gen.G exposed a recurring problem: lane stability. When T1’s side lanes hold even and Oner is free to operate, they are one of the best macro teams in the LCK. But against Gen.G, those lanes didn’t hold, and Oner was constantly on the back foot trying to clean up problems rather than create advantages. That is the version of T1 that loses to teams they shouldn’t.
DN SOOPers’ Situation
DN SOOPers present an interesting case. They beat DRX 2–0 in their last series, showing they can execute when the opponent gives them room. However, their 0–2 loss to Nongshim is a red flag — NS is not a top team, and if SOOPers can’t close out that kind of match, it raises serious questions about their consistency under pressure. Their key player, Pyosik, has solid individual mechanics but has historically struggled to impose himself against elite opposition. The H2H all-time stats tell the story clearly: T1’s Oner holds a significant edge in games won in this matchup.
The Key Matchup
This match will be decided in the jungle. If T1’s solo laners do their job — no early deficits, no forced Oner rotations to save losing lanes — then Oner should be able to take over the map through objective control and priority plays. DN SOOPers simply don’t have the individual talent in the side lanes to create the kind of multi-point pressure that Gen.G can generate through Chovy and Kiin. Their threat level is more concentrated and easier for T1 to manage through proper drafting.

Prediction
This is a must-win for T1, and they know it. Expect them to come out with a cleaner draft and more disciplined laning than the Gen.G game. As long as the solo lanes don’t implode, Oner should dictate the tempo.
Esports Forge predicts: T1 2–0 DN SOOPers.
