Baus Reacts to Witchcraft
Thebausffs addressed the formation of Witchcraft on his stream, clearing up speculation about his absence from the new roster.
“I Quit, They Didn’t Fire Me”
Following the announcement of Witchcraft — the new team featuring four former Los Ratones players alongside Bwipo — Thebausffs broke his silence on stream. The top laner was direct about why he isn’t part of the project.
“They asked me if I wanted to play. I got offered to play, I didn’t want to play. It’s as simple as that,” he said, quickly shutting down rumors of bad blood between him and his former teammates. “Me and the boys, we love each other.”
Baus also pushed back against suggestions that he was removed from the roster. “Chat, I didn’t get fired. It’s like — you’re not firing me, I quit. That’s the angle I went for.”
Baus on Bwipo: “He’s Crazy”
Despite stepping away, Baus has been keeping a close eye on Witchcraft’s scrimmages — and he came away impressed by his replacement.
“I’ve been watching their scrims. I’m pretty sure Bwipo talked more in his first scrim set than I did the entire year. He’s stepping up like crazy. Very impressive to see.”
Rooting From the Sidelines
Baus made clear there are no hard feelings toward the team. He confirmed he’ll be watching Witchcraft compete in EMEA Masters and is fully behind them.
“I’m rooting for them. I hope they’re going to win everything.” When asked if he could at least be the team mascot, he laughed it off: “I have no relation to Witchcraft. I’ll just be supporting them from the side.”
As for his own future, Baus hinted that he may have something in the works. “Maybe I have different plans for the future. Maybe I have something cooking up on the side.”
